WarrantyTerm

Warranty Terms

Pormade doors are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the purchase date (invoice date), as stated in Article 26, Section II of Law No. 8.078, dated 09/11/1990, Consumer Defense Code.

During this period, customers who notice issues with product operation (hinges and locks) or quality should contact Pormade so appropriate action can be taken.

For products with transport damage, inspection upon delivery and noting it on the delivery receipt (CTe) is mandatory. Without this note, the warranty will not cover damage as it does not constitute a manufacturing defect. Damage reported after receipt is subject to approval after inspection. For missing items, confirmation and signed CTe are required.

IMPORTANT: Installation services are the responsibility of the consumer. Drz Portas Ecológicas Ltda is not responsible for installation results or any damage caused by the professional, except when performed by qualified professionals recommended by Pormade.

12 - Water, liquid, or moisture damage to wooden components, doors, and frames from walls, floors, bathrooms, etc.

13 - Damage from installation in unfinished sites exposed to rain and wind, which may cause doors to hit the frame, resulting in cracks or breakage.

14 - Non-compliance with storage guidelines.

Storage guidelines

1 - Assembled sets (ready-to-install door kits) must be stored in a dry, clean place without sunlight or foot traffic, preferably placed on a suitable pallet;

2 - Assembled kits should preferably be placed vertically on pallets, leaning against a wall at a 20 cm angle. Maximum stacking: 18 kits or 500 kg, whichever is most critical, on a flat surface. The pallet must be even to prevent accidents or product falls.

Cleaning and maintenance guidelines

1 - To clean the products, we recommend using a soft cloth slightly dampened with neutral detergent.

2 - Locks must be maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions.

3 - To clean locks, handles, rosettes, and pulls, we recommend using a metal polish appropriate for the material and finish as indicated by the manufacturer. Every 6 months, lubricate the lock cylinder with the product recommended by the manufacturer.

4 - For cleaning sliding door tracks, rollers, and guides, remove accumulated debris using a vacuum cleaner. Every 12 months, check if pins and screws need tightening.

5 - To clean the rubber bumper and floor seal guillotine, use a soft cloth slightly dampened. We do not recommend solvents or petroleum-based products.

6 - We recommend monthly cleaning of the lock with a cloth lightly dampened with water, then drying with a clean dry cloth.

7 - In case of paint wear, take the following precautions: use a finishing paint compatible with the original; disassemble moving parts and components if necessary; fully protect glass, seals, and/or weatherstrips.
